Babsy App

  • Icon for the Digital Experiences category Digital experiences

We had the pleasure of co-developing the "Babsy" project for the Institute for Interactive Technologies at the University of Applied Sciences Northwestern Switzerland FHNW. The existing app was subjected to an expert review and revised from the ground up.
The focus of the service was "Design for Trust", as babysitting is a highly sensitive topic for everyone involved. In addition to the improved user experience, the information architecture and look & feel were also optimized.

  • Concept and IA

  • Revision of the entire information architecture (family and sitter mode) Expansion of new flows by developing user scenarios on the sitter and family pages. Creation of an Invision prototype that covers the family side.

  • Look & Feel

  • Instead of classic "gender colors", we have used warm, natural and soft color nuances. The main color dark green stands for versatility, nature and growth.

Together with icons and fresh illustrations in the onboarding, the brand elements ensure an inviting introduction with a recognition effect.

The app uses UI standards from iOS and Android Material Design.
