Swiss identity on the Rhine
For the “Rhine & Rösti” river cruise, Schweiz Tourismus travels from Basel to Amsterdam with around 250 guests. On board, Swiss tourism partners meet media, tour operators and industry representatives. Our job was to give the event a clear visual system and lend the journey a distinctive, unmistakably Swiss signature.

Swiss icons as a table system
At the heart of the meetings are 40 Swiss partners, each hosting guests at their own fixed table. Every partner gets a unique three-dimensional symbol that acts as a landmark and makes the table instantly recognisable. Produced as 3D prints, the objects give each table its own identity without cluttering the room.
A landmark on deck
To give the ship an anchor point you could spot from afar, we created three-dimensional Switzerland lettering.
Built to last, the lettering was designed for outdoor use and fitted with a base and the technical infrastructure needed to run it safely on board. That way, the Schweiz Tourismus brand stayed visible well beyond the event space.
Swissness down to the last detail
The visual world of “Rhine & Rösti” didn’t just show up in the big moments on board – it was there in all the small touchpoints of the journey, too. For stickers, signage and name badges, we developed a series of illustrated motifs that take a tongue-in-cheek look at typical Swiss quirks. More than 250 magnetic name badges helped guests, Swiss partners and the Schweiz Tourismus team find their way and connect. Together with the other design elements, they created a consistent look that accompanied the trip right down to the smallest detail.
